RAW JAPANESE BAMBOO HONEY (Scientific name: Fallopia japonica)

Bamboo honey is a monofloral gotten from the Japanese Knotweed plant. This honey is a mild-flavored version of buckwheat honey; dark in color, it appears dark red when held to light and has a dark, robust, earthy, nutty taste (much sweeter than buckwheat). Our local raw honey has not been heated neither does it have any added preservatives; 100% pure and made in USA, it is rich with nutrients and can be described as a cross between maple syrup, Buckwheat Honey and light molasses. Its subdued sweetness and woodiness make it a favorite in cooking, drizzle it on yogurt, on ice cream and on pancakes for that yummy goodness.
